Resident Engineering Experience
2016 — Present
Delivering clear, impactful live sound for concerts, touring productions, festivals, special events and high-capacity nightlife experiences inside one of Toronto’s busiest entertainment venues.
Resident Audio Engineer
My journey with REBEL Entertainment Complex began in 2016, during the venue's early years following its transformation from the legendary Sound Academy into what is now, one of Canada's premier live music destinations. Starting as an Audio Hand, I worked alongside the installation team helping build the venue's permanent audio infrastructure, including assisting with the installation of the d&b audiotechnik PA system, stage cabling and production wiring.
As the venue evolved, so did my role. Through years of supporting touring productions, festivals and corporate events, I progressed into my current position as Senior Front of House & Monitor Engineer. Today I serve as one of the venue's primary audio engineers, supporting guest engineers, production managers, touring crews, artists and corporate clients throughout every stage of production.
My responsibilities include console preparation, system optimization, stage patching, RF coordination, monitor support, festival changeovers, troubleshooting complex audio systems and ensuring every production integrates seamlessly.
